In June 2012 Spark moved from its original home, a tiny 2nd floor studio on South Broadway, to its current location at 985 Santa Fe Drive, in the Denver Art District. Now just 5 blocks away from the 10th & Osage Lightrail station, our new home is literally walking distance from the heart of downtown Denver! Enjoy a whole new set of fantastic restaurants, galleries, and shops in the biggest arts neighborhood in Denver!

Finding Us

Spark Theater is located at 985 Santa Fe Drive, on the West side of the street (the left side as you drive up Santa Fe). We’re just 3 doors in from the corner of 10th and Santa Fe, directly across from the hysterical old pink theater, the Aztlan Theatre, and located between Bluebird Real Estate & Art and Epiphany Tattoo.

Parking

Free street parking is available throughout the neighborhood. If you don’t see something on our block, there’s usually plenty on 10th Ave around either corner, within half a block of the theater.

Transportation

985 Santa Fe Drive is easily accessible by public transit, on the 1 or 9 bus (stop is either at 10th and Santa Fe or 10th and Kalamath), or from every lightrail line at the 10th and Osage Station (approx. 10-minute walk or an even quicker bike ride via the Denver Bike Share Station at 10th and Osage).

Denver Bike Share

Are you the reason Colorado is one of the healthiest states in the US? Good news for you! Spark is one block away from a Denver Bike Share Station. If you are a member of the Denver B-Cycle program, you can utilize the Bike Share station at 9th and Santa Fe.

Accessibility

One of the best things about our new ground-floor space in the Denver Art District is increased accessibility. Our bathroom is designed to ADA-standards, and there are no stairs for patrons to climb! If you’ll need wheelchair seating or require additional assistance, just let us know and we’re more than happy to help!

In the Area

The Denver Art District on Santa Fe is the highest concentration of galleries and art-focused organizations in the city! Antique shops, restaurants, theaters, and galleries galore! We encourage you to come down early and stroll through the neighborhood. Grab a bite to eat at one of our neighboring restaurants, and enjoy an evening of city culture like nowhere else!
