Spark provides high quality, low cost instruction on a variety of topics in the arts. Embracing the artist as a whole, we offer classes in everything from writing and journalling skills, to specialized technique, and arts business.
DROP-IN/ONGOING CLASSES
Most classes we offer are on a drop-in or ongoing basis. Rather than having to commit to a specific set of dates, students can pick up wherever they are on their own individual journey and use the information to grow. Attending the classes regularly is encouraged to help students grow and expand their knowledge, but they can come based on their schedule, and don’t have to worry about missing valuable material or losing money if they cant’ make a specific date.
SPECIALTY CLASSES
Spark also hosts limited classes with special instructors on a specific topic. For these, attendance is required at every session (usually only about 4 weeks) since material is cumulative. These allow us to go deeper into specialized topics and really let student get “down and dirty” with the material.
Most classes at Spark are less than $10/hour, making them accessible to anyone interested in furthering their knowledge in the arts. Drop in classes are cash only at the door, and exact change is always appreciated. Specialty classes can be paid with cash or check (payable to Spark Theater) at the first session.
